
Maurizio Falcocchio was born in Rome and showed a remarkable talent for drawing and painting from an early age. While undertaking technical and economic studies, he continues to cultivate his interest in art by attending the art workshops of some of the best known contemporary artists and private painting courses.

MAURIZIO FALCOCCHIO CURRICULUM
A first artistic phase sees Falcocchio’s works depict human-like figures, mainly female, surreal and metaphysical landscapes. During his artistic growth, Falcocchio’s works, in addition to the pure Surreal, also embrace the figurative with a preference for autumnal landscapes in black and white and Pop Art. The passion and love for Surreal painting push the young artist to create a his personal and revolutionary style, defined by Falcocchio himself as “Surreal Minimalist”.

- Capitolium Prize 2017 – “Arte in Cammino” – winner of the Metaphysics section, 2017;
- Winner of the competition announcement issued by the Municipality of Fonte Nuova in Rome for the purchase of works of art for the embellishment of the new municipal offices, 2015;
- Personal exhibition “Metaphysics” at the Galleria il Mondo dell’Arte, Rome, 2013.
His works are permanently exhibited at the Galleria Editrice Latina in Rome – Via Latina n. 41.
